About me

I'm a seasoned, bilingual, clinical psychotherapist with over a decade of experience providing therapy to adults and teens. I am invigorated by this work and have had the privilege of working with hundreds of clients.

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Aptos, California and have lived in Santa Cruz for 20 years. I earned my degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (now Sofia University).

My practice welcomes clients of all cultures, genders, sexual orientations, relationship structures (including ethically non-monogamous), and is neurodivergent–affirming. I am committed to supporting clients to foster self-compassion and resilience while providing affirming care to LGBTQIA+ individuals, BIPOC, immigrants, and those impacted by systemic oppression.

Passionate about body liberation, I receive ongoing training through Ample and Rooted to support clients with disordered eating in an inclusive, anti-diet, and anti-oppressive framework. Dedicated to continued education, I actively engage in conversations around race, power, and privilege and take pride in being part of the LGBTQIA community, offering support to those exploring their identity.

My certification through the Holistic Health Program as an undergraduate at UC Santa Cruz led me to become interested in somatic forms of psychotherapy. Outside of my counseling work, I actively train in various martial arts and have practiced insight meditation for decades–both of which influence my psychotherapy practice. I am actively engaged in our local community, socially and politically. I am passionate about workers’ rights and have volunteered with various organizations providing support for immigrant communities, environmental and racial justice, and the LGBTQIA+ community. I enjoy being in various leadership roles within our local community of therapists, and have served as Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Santa Cruz Chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) since 2016.

Therapy is an investment in yourself, and the personal growth you make lasts a lifetime.

Thanks for your interest in working with me. I will be in touch soon.
