How I Work

I specialize in supporting clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, relationship challenges, and suicidal thoughts. I have extensive experience working with individuals of all genders who have experienced sexual or domestic violence.
ā
I have specialized, advanced training in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing)
which is an extensively researched, evidence-based therapy proven to reduce psychological distress from trauma and disturbing experiences. It can help those who feel they want to “go deeper” in therapy after feeling stuck or unsatisfied with past work.
ā
I incorporate mindfulness and meditation in my sessions, and frequently hold therapy sessions outdoors, taking advantage of beautiful outdoor areas near my office.
EMDR can help address:
1 / Phobias
2 / Car accidents
3 / Assault and/or abuse (physical, emotional or sexual), recent or during childhood)
4 / Grief and loss
5 / Breakups or infidelity
6 / Conflicts at work or home or not being able to "let it go"
7 / Performance anxiety or fear of public speaking
Therapy is an investment in yourself, and the personal growth you make lasts a lifetime.
My fee is $255 for a 50 minute session. Occasionally, I have sliding scale openings for those with financial need, specifically prioritizing community organizers and the LGBTQIA community.
I am an out-of-network provider and can provide itemized receipts for insurance reimbursement, with some plans covering up to 100% for my services. I also accept FSA cards as payment– these can run just like a debit card. Feel free to contact me for details.
